Roleplay with a Narrative State.
Turn any workspace into a story you play. Pick your character, set the scene, and a clock keeps time on your world’s own calendar. After each reply, the scene, the time, inventories, resources and relationships are updated, and each character keeps only what reached them.
Time passes by what the turn did.
When the story doesn’t say how long something took, the clock moves by the kind of action. Time written in the story always wins.
These are the defaults. Every world can change them in Worldbuild › Rules.
Your world sets the rules. The story follows them.
Rules live in Worldbuild and travel with the world when you export it. The AI reports every change as an amount with a reason.
Pools such as health, stamina or mana that belong to chosen characters, races or species, and recover or drain with story time.
Levels and attributes with XP, rewards per level, and a rule for when attributes go up. Choose who progresses: one character, a race, a species or everyone.
Skills with your own rank names, sub-skills folded under their parent, and a choice of who can learn them. The AI can propose one during a turn.
Big changes wait for you.
A new character with an established name can join Worldbuild on its own. Anonymous people, places and items, and anything that would change the story a lot, come to you as a proposal first.
Regenerating or switching a reply first undoes the state of the reply it replaces.
