Share profiles and workflows
Profiles, workflows and knowledge bases travel as single files. A game master can share a narrator; a writing group can share an editor and its style guide.
| File | What it holds |
|---|---|
.klp |
One AI profile: its settings, rules, knowledge files and custom memories. |
.klw |
One workflow, with every profile its steps use and their knowledge bases. |
.klkb |
A knowledge base on its own: files and custom memories, without profile settings. |
.klwb |
A whole world from Worldbuild. See Export and import a world. |
Export
Section titled “Export”From the Library, export a profile or a workflow from its menu. Export a knowledge base from inside it.
Exporting a profile shows what goes in and what stays:
- In the file: rules, description and colour; temperature and reply length; variables, written out with their current text, so the profile works without yours; and, if you choose Include the knowledge base, its files and custom memories.
- Stays behind: the connection, and where the profile is turned on.
Your keys never travel. The connection and the model are removed from every exported profile, so a shared file carries no credentials.
Import
Section titled “Import”Use Import in the Library for a .klp or .klw, and Import knowledge base inside a profile for a .klkb. Keep Kallamo open until it finishes: knowledge files are indexed again on your computer.
- An imported profile has no connection, so it shows Needs a model. Press Set up and pick one of yours.
- If a profile or workflow with the same name already exists, the import gets a new one with “ - Imported” at the end. Nothing is overwritten.
- An imported workflow points at the profiles that came with it.
Share with the community
Section titled “Share with the community”Kallamo’s community on Discord has channels for sharing profiles, workflows and knowledge bases. Join the community to share yours or find one.
