Texts inside the story
A chapter can be a page of something that exists inside the story: a journal, a letter, a notice.
Write a page inside an item
Section titled “Write a page inside an item”In the Writing Desk, mark a chapter as Written inside the story and choose the item it belongs to, with an optional author. The item then lists its pages in reading order, and you can add more pages from there.
When the AI reads them
Section titled “When the AI reads them”The AI reads these pages only when the item is within reach of the scene, for example when someone in it opens the journal. Until then they stay out of the story, like any other secret.
They travel with the world
Section titled “They travel with the world”Pages written inside items are part of Worldbuild, so they are included when you export the world. Evenwell ships with two: Harrow’s Journal, with nine pages, and The Torn Pages, with three.
